Overfront isn’t here to copy anyone else, it’s here to stay and to show that living dreams and raising new ones isn’t an utopia, it may be hard for sure, but we all know that good things take time and efforts.
What brings someone to create a new brand in this low-value products era? Nothing.
Maybe that’s why I haven’t created Overfront – it was around since day one. The inspirations given to my youth from brands, and I am not talking about showing off a logo, but living a lifestyle inspirited by common beliefs has been huge.
I could feel my vision shared from miles and miles away, from people living different lives in different environments, but when it came up to riding a surfboard or a snowboard it seemed we were just homies. I used to watch videos and read magazines, featuring stories of swells, concerts, epic snowboarding days.. and with my friends we tried to copy the tricks and find ways to live our dream.
That was in every brand, in every sport, in everything. Brands weren’t made to be liked from everyone – brands had a personality. Like everyone of us has (or should have).
